A complete edit has more than moving images.
An animated product shot is one ingredient. A finished video needs a message, a sequence of scenes, readable text, an ending, and an audio treatment that works with the edit. Aitoma’s workflow covers that creative preparation and quality review; your team confirms product facts and approves the finished export.
Choose a shot-generation tool when you already have an editor and only need a missing scene. Choose a broader production workflow when you need the script, assembly, captions, and checks handled together. Our video tools versus content workflow guide maps those handoffs.
Choose what the video must explain.
Start with one product and one buying question. A packaging reveal, a comparison between variants, and a demonstration of how something works require different source material. Decide which job matters before collecting visuals.
For an illustrative coffee brand, the question might be “Which version fits my morning?” The product pack establishes identity; a pouring scene establishes context; a closing image shows where to go next. A different product may need an actual demonstration rather than a generated scene.
Supply the details that must stay accurate.
| Source | What it establishes |
|---|---|
| Current product page | The approved name, variant, offer, and destination. |
| Clear product photographs | Shape, packaging, colors, label text, and accessories. |
| Actual use footage, when needed | Physical behavior that cannot be established by a still. |
| Brand references | Typography, tone, layout, and examples to follow or avoid. |
Mark the current version of every reference. A beautiful pack shot of last season’s product can still produce an unusable video. List details the production team must preserve, including small labels and how the product is held or operated.
Build the brief around observable scenes.
Write each scene as an action a reviewer can recognize. “Show the cup filling” is inspectable; “make it feel premium” leaves the editor guessing. Add the spoken line and on-screen words separately so they can be checked against each other.
Aitoma’s creative workflow connects brand context with scripting, design, editing, and quality review. The finished examples show what the output can look like. They do not mean every product can be represented accurately from one photograph or that every input is sufficient.
A photo-only brief you can adapt.
This fictional coffee brief uses an existing pack photograph as the source of product identity. It illustrates a production plan, not a claim about how the video above was made.
| Brief decision | Instruction |
|---|---|
| Audience and question | A shopper choosing between the brand’s coffees: “Which one fits my morning?” |
| Source material | Current approved pack photo, brand fonts and colors, and a verified product-selection guide URL. |
| Opening · 0–4 seconds | Use the pack photo with the question. Keep its label visible; move the composition without inventing another view of the package. |
| Explanation · 4–11 seconds | Use a second layout with the same approved photo and the line “Find your morning ritual.” Point to the selection guide without inventing flavor or performance claims. |
| Close · 11–15 seconds | Show the brand and the approved guide destination with “Explore the range.” Check the words at actual phone size. |
| Audio and acceptance | Use approved music if available, with no voiceover required. The message must still make sense when muted. Check pack fidelity, reading time, the destination, and the complete export. |
With only one front-facing photo, this concept uses an edited sequence of layouts. A realistic pouring scene, an unseen side of the package, or a demonstration of a mechanism would need additional references or suitable footage. Let the available evidence shape the concept instead of asking a generated shot to prove something the source cannot show.
Use the editable video storyboard to replace this example with your own audience, sources, scenes, and acceptance checks. The product video script guide helps you connect the opening, explanation, and close.
See different kinds of finished product video.
Compare the actual exports before choosing a direction. Each example includes a creative breakdown so you can inspect the structure as well as the visual style.
- Woofing app video — a pet-led opening, product screens, and a five-scene story.
- SimpleStudy presenter video — a presenter-led approach with the software in the story.
These are supplied creative examples, not a controlled comparison of tools or a promise of advertising results. For software demonstrations, supply current approved screens; a generated interface cannot establish what the product actually does.
Approve the exported video.
Review the complete export at normal speed, with and without sound. Check the product through motion, not just in the poster frame. Pause where text appears and look for missing words, overlaps, and transitions that hide the item.
If a product action is essential evidence, compare it with approved real footage. If you only have photography, choose a concept the available references can support. Then record the approved version and the placement it was prepared for.
A few things you might be wondering.
Clear answers before you get started.
Can you make a product video from a single photograph?
A single approved photograph can support an edited sequence with layouts, text, and a clear message. It cannot establish unseen product details or real physical behavior. We scope the concept around the references available and identify where additional photos, footage, or product screens are needed.
Will I need to assemble the scenes and add captions myself?
Aitoma’s workflow includes scripting, design, editing, and creative quality checks before your review. Confirm the required voice, captions, music, duration, and export format in the brief. Your team supplies accurate business information and gives final approval; revisions can still be needed.
Can the same concept become an ad and an organic post?
Yes, a core message can be adapted, but the opening, offer, ending, and placement requirements may differ. Specify the versions you need before production and review each export. One approved video does not automatically approve every crop or variation.
What should I send to get started?
Prepare your current product page, approved product photographs or screens, brand references, one audience question, the intended destination, and the required format. Mark any wording or visual details that must remain exact. Use the storyboard linked above to collect these decisions.
Does the free playbook include a finished video?
The free brand playbook is the planning step: audience, message, and content ideas. It is not an instant free video export. Use it to establish the direction, then confirm your production scope.
