This free layout checker places your creative in a 9:16 frame with adjustable margins. The guides are your assumptions, not platform specifications. Use it to spot potential conflicts, then verify the final export in the actual account and publishing preview.
Inspect a vertical composition.
What the review image contains.
The canvas represents a 1080 × 1920 composition. “Fit entire asset” keeps the complete image or video visible and may leave space around it. “Fill frame” covers the composition and crops any excess at the edges. Neither setting changes your original file.
The colored bands show the space you reserved. The sample text block is measured against that rectangle. A warning means that block intersects a guide or extends outside the composition. An inside-guides result applies only to that sample block; it does not check existing captions, faces, product details, legibility or platform approval.
Save review image exports the visible frame, optional guide overlay, test text and a footer recording the assumptions. Save review notes records the settings and the selected video time. These are review artifacts, not a replacement for your edited master.
A worked example with explicit assumptions.
The starting example uses 12% top, 22% bottom, 6% left and 18% right margins. Those values deliberately reserve uneven space so you can test a player that uses a right-hand control column and lower caption area. They are illustrative values chosen for this exercise.
Move the test text’s top edge to 80%. It enters the lower reserved band and the checker reports an overlap. Move it back to 65%, or shorten and reposition the text. For a different destination, change the margins based on its actual preview rather than assuming these example values apply.
If the source has a different aspect ratio, compare both fit modes. A wide product image may lose important details when it fills a vertical frame. A contained image may need a designed background instead of empty space. The right choice depends on what the viewer needs to see.
Check the whole video, not one frame.
- Pause at the opening, each caption or scene change, and the closing action.
- Inspect the original text in the media as well as the sample block. This tool performs no optical text recognition.
- Use the seek control to inspect later frames. An acceptable opening does not prove that later scenes fit.
- Review audio and caption timing separately. This muted layout preview cannot evaluate pronunciation, music balance or meaning.
- Open the final file in the target publishing flow and on a real phone. Account settings, caption length, device size and player behavior can change what is visible.
Keep the final decision tied to the file.
Record which export you inspected, the destination and account, the frame times checked, and any changes requested. If a new caption, crop or end card is added, review the revised export again.
Local media stays in this browser session. The tool does not upload or save the file after you leave. Download the review artifacts before closing the page. Other people cannot recover your selected file from the page URL.
